Got a new phone for christmas, (samsung gt-s5230) its a touch screen and goes qwerty style for texting so i'm happy with it, also has a weekly planner 'widget' to help me get more organised xP.. spent new years with family playing board games and watching a film ('Bandits(2001)' for those that are interested)..Didnt do much over the holidays as i managed to get a viraly chesty cough thing and then a cold ontop of it for the majority of the holiday..
But did go see 'Avatar' which i enjoyed, although i do agree the plot was a let down and drew extreme parallels to 'ocahontas', and southpark even took the piss saying it was 'Dances with wolves'/'Smurfs' but the hype wasnt about the plot and the fact that people are attempting to tear this film apart cause the plot wasnt original is retarded. The hype was about the 3D awesomeness and the beatifulness of the film itself, thats why they waited awhile for the technology to come out cause they didnt want the technology at the time to ruin it.. Whats funny is its already the 3rd fastest grossing film ever and has already made 1.2 billion where as titanic made 1.8billion to date.. and i've heard if its as much as a sucess as he wanted he will make sequals and seeing as how well its already doing i pressume they are gonna be made..

I got an offer from Leeds university today, AAB for Energy and Environmental Engineering and from the looks of things theres no interview which im pleased about Still waiting on the other 4 to respond if they will even respond They are Loughborough, Manchester, Sheffield, Aston.. Ah well at least i've got 1 i can hope to get into for now, motivate me to get the grades :/
C1 and C2 exam on monday (11th), Chem2 exam on Thursday following(21st), Physics4 and Chemistry4 on 27th and 28th i forget which is which...

Snow days have been nice although not as productive as i'd have liked seeing as the whole family is off and i get distracted and theres no real quiet places to study.. have been trying to make fractals again and plan to start drawing again and maybe try taking some photo's xP
